We get to have reading every day. We get read to and read to ourselves. We are very lucky to have books and dictionaries. We love to read and parents often get read to or read to their child!
by Garyn Today our class wrote a "how to" paragraph on making an Oreo turkey. We included a diagram and picture as well. It was delicious writing! Today we had Mr. Larson's 5th graders help with researching genius hour topics. They did a great job!!

Check out the students hard at work. We did a "graffiti" walk to practice writing inquiry questions. Next up...The students will write their own inquiry questions pertaining to their topic and start researching!
Our class is learning about communities with the help of our volunteer, Ashley Campion from Ulteig. Check out the students creating the buildings for their communities' zones.
